Training For Success

Champions at Training

Ruby Tuesday invests millions of dollars in performance training annually, among the most in our industry. We view this investment in our people as a number-one priority for operational success. Our award-winning Quality Training department has been internationally recognized by the American Society for Training and Development, and was presented with the 2006 BEST Award for our devotion to top-box instructional design and our holistic approach to learning. Our in-house Quality Training team touches every single initiative implemented in our restaurants.

The Center for Leadership Excellence

Ruby Tuesday is as dedicated to the personal and professional growth of every team member as we are to the freshness and quality of our food and beverages. Our goal is to ensure that Ruby Tuesday is a fun place to work as well as a fun place to learn and grow, a place where everyone can achieve their goals.

The Center for Leadership Excellence, located at the company's headquarters in Maryville, Tennessee, consists of eight fully-equipped classrooms, video and technical support, a training restaurant, and a complete culinary center, all of which are specifically designed for hands-on instruction. The Center provides a unique and inspiring learning environment for managers and multi-restaurant operators from throughout our system.

The Ruby Tuesday Culinary Arts Center

This state-of-the-art facility was designed to maximize hands-on culinary training for our managers and multi-restaurant operators. The layout of this special classroom provides multiple learning stations, all of which incorporate the actual equipment and supplies that would be found in a Ruby Tuesday restaurant. Through our Masters Training Program at the Culinary Arts Center, we ensure consistent execution through hands-on training of every team member at all levels of operations.
